Are These Even the Same Fish? + Butterflies for Sale Friday

Who are those fish and what have they done with Sophie and Clyde?!  Seriously though, check out the major color change that Sophie and Clyde have undergone!  This was a long time coming.  As many of you probably know, there are no “true” panda goldfish.  Goldfish that are black and white (called panda) are eventually going to lose their black color and become all white, or red and white, if they have red pigment beneath the black.  Sophie and Clyde kept their black color for a remarkably long time (over two years), but alas, all good things must come to an end.  It’s okay, they’re still absolutely gorgeous fish no matter the color!  Check out the video below for the full scoop.

You have all been waiting so patiently for my butterfly telescope babies to be ready for sale, and I just announced over the weekend via my email list that they’ll be going up for sale this Friday!  The sale listings will go live on Friday, May 15th at 7pm EST on my new Facebook page, Solid Gold Butterflies, that I created just for selling my fish.  Each fish will have its own photos and video so you can see exactly what you’re getting before purchasing.  These 6-month-olds will be selling for an average of $75 each, and please remember that shipping live fish safely is not a cheap endeavor no matter who you purchase your fish from.  You can expect the shipping charge to be anywhere from $70-$100+, depending on where you live and how many fish you’re purchasing.  I’m sure you’ll have lots of great questions about how this all works.  Before asking me, please be sure to read my article titled, “How to Buy & Shipping Policies” on Solid Gold Butterflies’ Facebook page.  The video below has more details as well.
